Why they chose training: I developed an exercise addiction in highschool while attempting to 'get in shape' for soccer season. That incidence sparked the fire to learn how and to keep myself healthy, and to help others attain their fitness goals properly. Ever since then, I have been a sponge, taking in any information I can.
How they are different for other trainers: Stability training, utilizing the bosu, swiss, and medicine balls. Circuit training and general weight loss.
Challenges they face when training clients: Follow through when I am not around to train them
Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths-Optimism, personality, knowledge Weakness- not being pushy enough in a sales environment
Question they come across most with clients: How do I get rid of my stomach? I don't want to get bulky using weights, but how do I lose weight? What is the best cardiovascular exercise?
Greatest success story: A woman who came to me wanting to lose weight and improve fitness level to pass a police physical exam. She ended up not going the police route, but she has lost all the weight, and bike rides 20 miles a day.
Future Goals: Gain a full time career that pays the bills and that I can be stoked to get up for every morning.
